Marvel Sorter

We needed to create a system that that could sort the marbles of different colors into different categories

We couldnt finish the proyect because of time and we still had some troubles with the gates but I feel like we could have finished if we were given more time

3.1.7

Problem 1: Start / Finish Line
Someone would like your team to invent a control system for use with
track and field running events. They want this device to automatically record the time
and beep when the first runner crosses the start / finish line.

 Part 2

Bridge Challenge

  • For this Challenge Matt, Javier, Austin, and I constructed a bridge using coffee stirrers and hot glue.

  • Our bridge at first held 505 batteries until the strings on the box collapsed.

.
  • After making some little changes our bridge was able to hold 600 batteries

3.1.6

We were able to execute this system with our limited ability in electronics thanks to the programming abilities we gained in the year
We needed to create a system that would time how much time it took the motor to get from one point  to another.

3.1.3 Basic Programing

1 What is the best way to make sure that all of your devices are hooked to the correct interface and have been wired correctly?
The most important part is to maintain everything organized because if you miss a little thing you have to go back and check what was the error
2 Explain the importance of labeling block functions within a flowchart
It is necessary for the program to read and be able to function

3.1.4 Branch Functions

Branch Functions
1 Describe why it is important to include branches in programming.
It is important because if you didnt it would come out differently and would not have the same outputs

2 Describe an every day application of a normally open switch that has not been given as an example

The ding dong of a door bell is a good example
3 Describe an every day application of a normally open switch that has not been given as an example

A window with an alarm system is a great example it is always closed until you open the door which opens the function activating the alarm.

3.1.1 Basic Programming
With this we tuned on the lamp for several seconds and it worked

We hooked the buzzer to the lamp and after a few tries we were able to activate them with one command which I thought it was pretty cool and I think with this thing that I learned it could help me understand more about mechanics
